The EURAX/SINEAX 7U9 electrical transducer measures the difference between two alternating voltages, i.e. their arithmetic mean values (not the vectorial difference). The output signal, either a load-independent direct current or direct voltage, is proportional to the alternating voltage difference. The output signal allows for the simultaneous operation of several instruments such as meters, recorders, regulators etc., which can be located either in close proximity to the transducer (field installation), or at great distances (control room installation.
