The EURAX TI 807 signal isolator provides for electrical isolation of the 0-20 mA analog, direct current signal, which, depending upon model, is transformed into a current or a voltage signal (0-20 mA or 0-10 V). It functions as a passive isolator without a separate supply of auxiliary power, and uses the direct current signal for its minimal power requirements. This series of isolators is supplemented with explosion protection type[EEx ib] IIC models «intrinsic safety» with intrinsically safe input signal and [EEx ia] IIC models with intrinsically safe output signal. They can be used in combination with intrinsically safe equipment, which has been installed within explosive atmospheres.
