EURAX BC 802
The EURAX BC 802 power supply provides auxiliary power to 2-wire or 3-wire measuring transducers, which are operated either within or outside of explosive atmospheres. Its measuring output is burden amplified and is electrically isolated from the measuring/supply circuit. The instrument is also equipped with a device for monitoring the measuring/supply circuit. Additional functions are available as well, including transformation into alternate signal ranges and square-root extraction. The square-root extraction function can be used, for example, for the generation of a signal which is proportional to volumetric or mass flow from the measurement signal of a differential pressure transducer. Finally, the EURAX BC 802 can be used without its power supply function as an isolation amplifier for direct current or direct voltage signals.
