The SINEAX PQ 502 transducer transforms active or reactive power form a single-phase alternating current system or a 3-phase system with balanced or unbalanced load. A load-independent direct current or a load-independent direct voltage signal is provided as an output signal, which is proportional to measured value for active or reactive power. Input and output are electrically isolated from one another. The floating output is short-circuit-proof and idling-proof, and can be operated for any desired period of time in the open or short-circuited condition. The output current signal is limited to approximately 1.3 ??I AN. Surge withstand capability is in conformance with IEC and ANSI/IEEE.
