The SINEAX V 805 isolation amplifier is used for acquiring direct currents and direct voltages, which are then electrically isolated and transformed into a load-independent direct current or a load-independent direct voltage. It is equipped with up to 6 inputs and 1 output, which makes it suitable for the summation of several (up to 6) input quantities, as well as for the measurement of an input quantity with various (up to 6) predetermined measuring ranges. When used for summation, input and output quantities can be assigned to any desired process quantity (e.g. kW, m3/hr.), and transformation is then carried out in a weighted fashion. Hybrid input signals (current and/or voltage) can also be applied. Switching to a second input or output range, as well as shifting to a second or third zero point is accomplished with plug-in jumpers at the amplifier or with wire jumpers at the terminals. 3 basic versions are available: Isolation amplifier with standard input stage for current (via internal shunt) and voltage (direct or via voltage divider) Isolation amplifier with input stage with interphase connection for current (summation is only possible with identical measuring ranges and weighting) Isolation amplifier with high impedance input stage for voltage (no summation possible).
